Mike Fahn grew up in Huntington, Long Island. His father loved Bob Brookmeyer and presented Mike with a valve trombone.
Benefitting from the outstanding school music programs in Huntington Long Island, Mike learned to improvise from the deep well of jazz standards. When he was 16 years old, his family moved to Los Angeles and he quickly became known as a natural jazz improviser on valve and slide…
