The Daniel Paik Trio draws inspiration from vernacular musicians Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell. Joining Daniel Paik are Izaak Weatherwax on drums and Kevin Karagozian on bass. Rooted in the bebop tradition, the trio blends classic influences with each musician’s distinct artistic voice.
The group will perform original arrangements of selections from the Great American Songbook alongside compositions from the bebop repertoire.
